About Me

Welcome to a place where you can read about my journey of faith and where God is leading me during the current season of my life. My name is Lauren and I am just trying to figure out life and what it means to live out my faith wholeheartedly.

This is a site where I feel that I can be honest and open, sharing my emotions with you, being raw with you. I feel that this is a place where I can really connect with God and share that with you at the same time. I hope that you find this blog to be a place where you can truly see the love of Christ and see the way He works in my life.


So, a little bit about me:

I graduated from college in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and a minor in Education. I worked hard for four years to complete my education.

I am very close to my family. We love spending time together, whether it is camping, laying out by the pool, having dinner together, watching a movie, or just hanging out and relaxing.

My parents are two of my best friends and I talk to them about everything. I have equally great relationships with both of my parents and have learned so much from them over the years. I am beyond blessed to call them Mom and Dad and am so thankful to have them in my life. 

Somehow, our crazy, weird, loud family is liked by many people (they must be weird just like us if they want to hang out with us so much!). My parents have "collected" children over the years. So here is our first family picture, complete with all the "adopted children."

There is so much going on in my life right now and it is wonderful, overwhelming, beautiful, exciting, new, fresh, exhilarating and so many other things. God is teaching me new things all the time, yet sometimes I don't open my eyes (or my heart) long enough to see those things. This blog, so far, has allowed me to take some time to stop and reflect on the things that God is waving right in front of me, and has given me a space to process them.
